Google Introduces Keyboard Shortcuts for "Accessible View" on SERPs

Recently Google Introduces "Accessibility Search" on Google Labs. Simply by using the keyboard you can find your most accessible pages on the sERPs. You can navigate your search results very quickly and easily through this Accessible Search. If you want to use the keyboard shortcuts, just join the experiment of "Accessible view" in the tool. Note down that you can join only one of the experimental search at a time.

Currently, You can use keyboard shortcuts for accessible view which includes:

Key
- Action

j or DOWN - Selects the next item.
k or UP - Selects the previous item.
l or RIGHT - Moves to the next category (results, sponsored links, refinements).
h or LEFT - Moves to the previous category (results, sponsored links, refinements). Opens the selected result.
/ - Puts the cursor in the search box.
n - Moves to the next result, and fetches more results if necessary.
p - Moves to the previous result, reloading earlier results if necessary.
= - Magnifies current item
- - Shrinks current item
A - Switches to Accessible Search Results
W - Switches to regular Web Search Results.

New Feature - Advanced Filters Announced in Google Analytics

qualification program for the Google Analytics Experts to test your expertise in interpreting and using Google Analytics.

In the past, Google - "we are offering an online course in web analytics techniques and Google Analytics implementation, administration, and analysis tools. The course is offered free of charge to everyone who is interested. In addition, we're also offering a test you can take to prove you are qualified in Google Analytics -- the Google Analytics Individual Qualification -- or IQ test". This was in the past 7 months.

Using the Google Testing Center, you can now able to create and publish your link to the test record. Your test record shows your contact information, the date completed your test and remarks for your IQ Test i.e. Pass/Fail.

New Feature "Fetch as Googlebot and Malware Details" Launched in Google Webmaster Tools

Now Google introduces two new features such as Fetch as Googlebot and Malware Details in Webmaster Tools under the "Labs" label.



Fetch as Googlebot provides you to submit pages on your website and get feedback on what Googlebot sees on the page. This new feature helps you to find out when you re-implement your site with new technology stack, whether some of your pages have been hacked and not ranking for keywords that you optimized. After clicking "Fetch as Googlebot" feature you type the page name or leave it blank for the home page and click "Fetch." After refreshing the pages with few minutes you can see the word "success". Then Click on "Success" to see the output of what Googlebot sees on your web page.

On the other hand, Malware details the second feature under "Labs" label helps you to decide which pages on your site is distributing malware by giving snippet of codes. This useful feature will help you to remove the malware on your site as soon as possible.

Now PDF File Shows "Quick View" in Search Result Pages

Before, Google search results shows PDF Files in the browser with providing "View as HTML". That was the only way to easily view the pdf files as html in a browser by simply clicking "View as HTML". But with that option we loses some of the graphics, images, table, fonts from the orginal pdf document.



Now Google has added new option such as "Quick View" PDF's in the browser to view these documents easily and completely original without downloading the pdf file. This option will be very useful for the internet users to view the pdf files quickly by google documents.

After clicking the "Quick View" option, you can find the pdf document having several options such as download, print, plain HTML etc.,

Add Google Analytics In-depth Report to your Dashboard

To add a deep-level report to the dashboard in your Google Analytics account, then choose your targeted report like, you need to add visitors of the particular city i.e chennai. For this, you'd need to go to map overlay under visitors, next you have to click "India" under the Country and then you will search for Chennai. This is the long process of 3 to 4 clicks. So better you can save your time by simply add this report to your dashboard. Please see the below figure.



You will now see the report on your dashboard at the end. The next time you log on to your Analytics account, you'll be able to see the visits from "Chennai" on your dashboard. If you want to bring the report on to the first, you can drag the box and move it. You want to delete the report, then click the "x" button to delete it. To view the full reports, click on the view report option in the report summary. Try it now with one of your favorite reports.
